This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from http://www.gazeal.co.uk and all our landing pages (the “Site”)

Data Protection Permission:

Gazeal Limited is are registered with the Information Commissioners Office as a controller of Data and We hold this data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016, and confirm that that any such data will be kept confidential and that used only for the purposes of verification of compliance with the terms of these Terms and Conditions and will be held no longer than is necessary to enable us to perform these obligations and the performance of such checks as we may reasonably interpret that law and regulation may from time to time require.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to: Communicate with you; Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services. We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18 years.

Information Security Policy

Technical Infrastructure

We aim to maintain a balanced and resilient infrastructure to maximise system performance and up-time:

  • We monitor our services 24/7.
  • We work under version control, we stage code and only release updates to “Live” after thorough testing.
  • We use AWS (Amazon Web Services) located in the EU-West 2 region (Ireland).
  • We will let you know when we are undergoing scheduled maintenance.
  • Our maintenance is carried out of working hours, unless absolutely essential.

Data Security

We take the ownership, management and protection of your data very seriously:

  • We have strict access control to client data. Only our data specialists can see your data, and only at your request.
  • We believe in GDPR. Your data is your data, we never use it for purposes other than the provision of our services to you and to notify you of their availability, and will never mine it for third party marketing purposes
  • Our contract with you contains a termination clause making it clear that you may take your data with you, should you wish to migrate to another system.
  • If you do decide to leave, we render the data and any copies of the data ‘beyond use’ after one year.

Disaster Recovery

We recognise that data attacks and corruptions are still possible, and have robust disaster recovery procedures in place:

  • Our regular backups allow us to reinstate data in as timely and an accurate way as possible.
  • We have a great track record for up-time, both on uninterrupted normal service and when we make upgrades.
  • We promise to be online for 99.5% of the time in any given month, but always aim to beat that.

Honesty is our policy; we are proactive, communicative and breach ready:

  • In the case of a breach or outage, in addition to the usual and necessary operational reporting, we have defined service provider responsibilities for reporting the timeliness, root cause, fix and future mitigation strategy.
  • We will rank any incidents and will communicate with our users if any of their data is compromised.

 

GAZEAL AGENT MOBILE APPLICATION

In addition to the Site, Gazeal Limited operates the "Gazeal Agent" mobile application (the "App"), available on iOS and Android platforms. This section describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you use the App.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT THROUGH THE APP
When you use the App, we may collect the following information:

Phone Number: We collect your mobile phone number for the purposes of account creation, authentication, and identity verification via SMS one-time passcodes (OTP).
Profile Information: Your name, email address, agency name, branch, and role as provided during account setup.

Device Information: We collect device identifiers, operating system version, and device model to ensure compatibility and troubleshoot issues.

Push Notification Tokens: If you grant permission, we collect your device's push notification token to deliver real-time alerts, updates, and communications relevant to your use of the App.

Biometric Data: If you choose to enable biometric login (Face ID or fingerprint authentication), the biometric data is processed and stored entirely on your device by the operating system. Gazeal Limited does not collect, store, or transmit any biometric data to our servers. We only store your preference for whether biometric login is enabled.

Camera and Photo Library: If you grant permission, the App may access your device camera or photo library solely for the purpose of uploading profile images or property-related photographs. Images captured or selected are transmitted securely to our servers for use within the App.

Location Data: If you grant permission, approximate location data may be collected to provide location-relevant features within the App. Location data is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the App, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken, to improve our services.

DEVICE PERMISSIONS
The App may request the following permissions on your device:

Camera (android.permission.CAMERA): Used to capture profile photographs and property images.

Push Notifications: Used to deliver real-time alerts, agreement updates, and important communications.

Biometric Authentication (Face ID / Fingerprint): Used to provide a secure and convenient method of unlocking the App. This is entirely optional and can be enabled or disabled at any time from the App's profile settings.

Photo Library / Storage: Used to allow selection of existing images for profile and property purposes.

Internet Access: Required for the App to communicate with our servers.
You may revoke any of these permissions at any time through your device's settings. Revoking certain permissions may limit the functionality of the App.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES USED BY THE APP
The App uses the following third-party services that may collect information:

Twilio: We use Twilio's Verify service to send SMS one-time passcodes for account authentication. Twilio processes your phone number for this purpose. You can review Twilio's privacy policy at https://www.twilio.com/legal/privacy.

Expo Push Notification Service: We use Expo's push notification infrastructure to deliver notifications to your device. You can review Expo's privacy policy at https://expo.dev/privacy.

Slack: Certain administrative actions within the App (such as print requests) may trigger notifications to our internal Slack channels. No personal user data is shared in these notifications beyond what is necessary for operational purposes.

HOW WE USE APP INFORMATION
We use the information collected through the App to:

Authenticate your identity and secure your account.
Provide, maintain, and improve the App's features and functionality.
Send push notifications related to your agreements, leads, and account activity (where you have opted in).
Facilitate print ordering and marketing material requests.
Enable biometric authentication for faster and more secure access.
Communicate with you regarding service updates, support, and administrative matters.
Monitor and analyse usage patterns to improve the user experience.

APP DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
We retain your App data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at vignesh.sasindran@gazeal.co.uk. Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention or regulatory compliance.

To disable push notifications, you may do so at any time through the App's profile settings or through your device's notification settings. Disabling notifications will remove your push notification token from our servers.

APP DATA SECURITY
All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS (Transport Layer Security) protocols. Biometric data is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device using platform-provided secure storage mechanisms.
